SBL is committed to serve the community of which it is a part. Tagged under Corporate Social Responsibility, we engage in various social uplifting projects to influence our community and create opportunities for co-existence. Major social investments endeavored by SBL has enhanced the living condition of the people in need. We partner with people, customers, government, and other social organizations to express our willingness to build a happy community. Our grass-root social care projects include home for destitute and orphans, financial support to non-profitable organizations, old-age homes, etc. Apart from these, we have initiated Equal Opportunity Employment (EOE) in our premises. SBL aims to create a better and sustainable future for underprivileged children and youth. We adhere to our social mission ‘Realize, Empathize, and Empower” and being strictly environment-friendly, we explore ways to mark a difference round the globe. Sustainability
The beginning of 21st century was drooped in heavy discussions on environmental conservation. Increasing challenges for environment-conservation, such as climate changes, extinction of species, water scarcity, etc. have posed threat to ecological balance, owing to booming economies and increasing pollution. This has ratified the importance of sustainability measures in business arena. In this situation, SBL has understood the need for sustainability and has established and implemented standard business practices for optimizing and managing its resources effectively. We employ ideal resource management steps to factor reduction in carbon footprints and resource efficiency. Our Sustainability Policy emphasizes our commitment to protect the environment, of which we all are part, and to make continuous efforts to implement procedures and systems that complement the global drive for environment sustainability. Our policy addresses several issues related to environmental sustenance and conservation of resources without compromising the call for growth. Through our 'go green' measures, we build smart solutions for our clients and enable them to save their resources, at the same time help them to achieve their profit goals. By committing for building a sustainable tomorrow, SBL plans to reduce its carbon footprints by 20% in the next five years and thereby increase energy efficiency.
